Liquavista will commercialize its revolutionary electrowetting
display technology by working with manufacturing partners. Our
manufacturing approach is a direct facsimile of a conventional
LCD process with the filing step replaced by a Liquavista specific
process step.
Liquavista is developing 3 technology platforms for transfer to
our partners based on its unique display architecture – ColorBright,
ColorFull and ColorFull+.
Liquavista ColorBright, is designed to bring new colors to the
world of simple black on grey displays and is targeted at segment-driven
display applications such as watches, clocks, and secondary mobile
phone displays. This will be followed by Liquavista ColorFull and
Liquavista ColorFull+ which will apply the benefits of Liquavista’s
core electrowetting technology to full-color video displays with
increasing performance and efficiency.
Liquavista’s display roadmap includes continuous improvement to
expand the product range to allow for full color displays that
can change the way that we are able to view displays whether in
full sun or shade.
